Traditionally on Great and Holy Friday the Icon of Christ on the Cross is brought to the tomb at the center of the Nave. We need your help to purchase this Icon for Holy Week 2024 and as a permanent piece of art to be placed in the sanctuary for veneration throughout the year. Below you can either click the “Pledge” button which will allow you to pledge a weekly or monthly amount that will be automatically withdrawn for as long as you’d like while the campaign is active, or you can click the “Donate” button to give a one time gift. Please indicate “Holy Friday Icon” in the memo box.

In recognition of God’s infinite mercies and goodness toward his creatures, please take this opportunity to make a one-time or recurring donation to fund this project.
Thank You

Today He who hung the earth upon the waters is hung on the tree,
The King of the angels is decked with a crown of thorns.
He who wraps the heavens in clouds is wrapped in the purple of mockery.
He who freed Adam in the Jordan is slapped on the face.
The Bridegroom of the Church is affixed to the Cross with nails.
The Son of the virgin is pierced by a spear.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
We worship Thy passion, O Christ.
Show us also Thy glorious resurrection.
